The beaches and the sea of Ischia
The island of Ischia is characterized by 37 kilometers of coastline, where you can swim with friends and family.
In Ischia the sea water mixes with the warm mineral water springs, which spurt a few steps from the shoreline; hidden places to reach by boat, where the silence is interrupted by the sounds of seagulls.
The bathing strip includes the “beach of the English”, crosses the main port of the island, continues towards the Lido, the Mandra, the Aragonese Castle and the beach of Cartaromana, with the rocks that dominate the submerged Roman port. Proceeding south, where the Maronti beach is found, there are fumaroles and hot springs, which characterize the enchanting two kilometers of the beach where the thermal streams of Olmitello and Cavascura flow.
Then the isthmus of Sant’Angelo and the “Fumaroles”.
Following the splendid coast of Citara, then Cava dell’Isola, which is the place where young people meet. Proceed to the beaches of Chiaia and San Francesco, bordered by Caruso peak in the Zaro area.
Then the Bay of San Montano, the beaches of Lacco Ameno and Casamicciola, and finally the Bagnitielli.
